Welcome To The Website
Raven Consultancies was established in 1991 by Tony Mann, who is a psychologist working in the fields of both Clinical and Occupational Psychology. Tony's mission is to help individuals and groups reach their full potential and to perform at their optimum levels of efficiency. Whether this is to help an individual to deal with some traumatic life event, to develop assertiveness, confidence or self–esteem, or to help couples work through relationship issues. It might also be to help groups such as families cope with such things as grief, drug abuse or inter-personal conflicts.
In an occupational setting, this might be to assist teams to develop a much greater understanding of themselves and of each other or to help organizations clearly define their values and marketing strategies or improve such things as communication, negotiation, team–building and sales skills so as to move towards one goal as a unified body. Tony is passionate about what he does and his greatest reward is seeing individuals and organizations achieve their goals through application and self–determination.
Tony began his career in the Armed Forces where he served for many
years, finishing his term as a senior Military Instructor for the Army at the Army Apprentices College in Harrogate. During
his military career he completed three bomb disposal tours in Northern Ireland and went on to serve a total of eleven years with Special
Forces, leaving as a highly respected and decorated soldier.
Since leaving the Armed Forces in 1991, Tony initially qualified as a Psychotherapist and
went on to become a Psychologist, working in the fields of Clinical and Occupational Psychology. As well as being a Master Practitioner
in Neuro–Linguistic Programming (NLP) Tony is also a certified advanced NLP
Trainer and Psychometric Tester
Tony has a profound interest in people and their development, whether on
an individual or organizational level, his dedication to his private client and occupational consultancy work is testimony to this. With over
40 years experience as a trainer, Tony, more than anyone, knows what individuals are capable of
achieving; often far in excess of what they themselves believe they are
capable of.
He understands how to get the best out of people, working closely with individuals and challenging them in ways that enable
them to reach their full potential, whether this is done in a social or occupational setting. He has a clear understanding of the importance of
effective support networks for the individual, just as how important the team element is within any organization.
