JOB ANALYSIS |
Raven Consultancies was established in 1991 by
Tony Mann, who is a psychologist working in the fields of both Clinical and Occupational Psychology. Tony's
mission is to help individuals and teams reach their full potential and
to perform at their optimum levels of efficiency.
This might involve assisting an individual develop the appropriate tools
to deal with traumatic events, or changing behaviours or thought
processes that are not conducive with success. It might also be to
assist teams and organizations develop greater understanding of
themselves and of each other and to improve such things as
communication, negotiation and team-building skills so as to move
towards one goal as a unified body.
Tony began his career in the Armed Forces where he served for sixteen
years, finishing his term as a senior instructor for the Army. During
his military career he served a total of seven years with Special
Forces, including working with the Intelligence and Security agencies as
an undercover field operative and service with the 22nd Regiment of the
Special Air Service.
His career culminated as a senior instructor for Special Forces as a
member of the Joint Services Interrogation Wing (JSIW), where he taught
officers and soldiers from police and armed forces around the world,
teaching such subjects as Explosives, Advanced First Aid (Paramedic UK
Level), Survival, Navigation, Nuclear Biological and Chemical Warfare,
Advance Weapons Training, Tactics, Method of Entry, Surveillance and
Counter-Surveillance, Close-Protection Techniques, and Survival - Escape
and Evasion.
During his military service Tony qualified in Advanced Methods of
Instruction and was responsible for training Instructors and Trainers
from a broad cross-section of specialised fields. He made history when
he procured a posting as the first non-infantryman to be posted as a
tactics instructor to the Officer Training College at the Military
Academy at Sandhurst. |

Since
leaving the services, Tony initially qualified as a Psychotherapist and
went on to become a Psychologist, working in the fields of Clinical
and Occupational Psychology. As well as being a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Tony is also a certified advanced NLP
Trainer and Psychometrics Tester
Tony has a profound interest in people and their development, whether on
an individual or organizational level. With over 25 years experience as
a trainer, Tony, more than anyone, knows what individuals are capable of
achieving; often far in excess of what they themselves believe they are
capable of. He understands how to get the best out of people, enabling
them to reach their full potential. He also understands the importance
of the team element in any organization.
Tony is a member of a number of professional bodies, including the British
Psychological Society and the United Kingdom Guild of Hypnotist
Examiners.
